Extension-only tools stop the second you close Chrome, which is exactly when most cards fail. Backpack does the sending from our servers instead, so a payment that fails at 3am is followed up at 3am.

What is coming next.
Backpack launches with five features: Payment Recovery, Cancellation Recovery, Welcome Drip, the Post Scheduler and MCP. The three below are being built and you cannot use them yet. There is no date on any of them, and they come at the same $9 when they ship.
Label members your way, like VIP, paid in full or needs help, and filter your member list by them.

Does it really work when my computer is off?
Yes, and it is the reason Backpack is built the way it is. A Chrome extension only runs while Chrome is open, so a tool that lives entirely in your browser cannot follow up at 3am. Backpack does the sending from our servers, so your sequences and scheduled posts keep running while you sleep, travel, or take a week off.
What do you do with my Skool login?
Backpack never asks for your Skool password and never stores one. For our servers to act for you while your browser is closed, it stores the Skool session for each community you switch on. It is encrypted at rest and the key is held separately from the database, so a copy of the database on its own cannot read it.
It is used for three things only: reading the member list and payment state of each community you switched on, sending your follow-up messages to members of that community, and publishing the posts you scheduled in that community. Not to read or act in any community you have not switched on, not to change your settings, not to comment or like, not to message anyone who is not your member. You can revoke it at any time by disconnecting Skool or emailing us, and it is deleted when you do. Full detail is in the privacy policy.
What does Backpack actually do today?
Five things: Payment Recovery, Cancellation Recovery, Welcome Drip, the Post Scheduler and MCP. Tags, pipelines and team logins are being built and are not usable yet. If none of the five is worth $9 to you on its own, wait for the rest before you buy.
Can I use it for more than one community?
Yes, unlimited. One subscription covers every Skool community you are an admin of. Connect Skool once, then switch each community on from its page in Skool. There is no limit on how many members a community has. Team logins are coming soon.
Does it use AI?
Backpack itself does not. There is no model, no drafting and no generated copy inside Backpack. You write every DM, and Backpack substitutes the placeholders and sends exactly what you wrote.
MCP is the one exception, and you control it. If you connect your own Claude or ChatGPT, that assistant can read your Backpack data and write posts for your schedule. If you never connect one, nothing is sent to an AI provider.
Can I message whoever I want with it?
No. Every sequence is triggered by something the member did, and the members are your own. No cold outreach, no uploaded lists, no bulk blasts to a segment. That is a rule in the terms, not a setting.
How do I cancel?
Cancel your membership of skool.com/backpack. Skool takes the payment, so that is where cancelling happens. Uninstalling the extension does not cancel anything and does not stop the billing.
