Skool Discount Code: Is There One? (Ways to Pay Less)

Whether a Skool promo code exists, and the real ways to pay less for Skool: the free trial, yearly billing and picking the right plan.

Pricing and moneySkool discount code

There is no public Skool discount code. We looked on Skool's own pages on 29 September 2026: the pricing page, the help centre, and the wording Skool shows before you buy. None of them offers a Skool discount code or promo code, or a box to type one in. There are still real ways to pay less, and each one below comes from Skool's own pages.

No. Skool does not publish a discount code or promo code. On 29 September 2026, its pricing page had no code box and its help centre had no article on coupons. The real ways to pay less are the 14-day free trial, yearly billing ("2 months free"), and picking the plan that fits your member revenue.

What we checked, and what we found

Where we lookedWhat we found on 29 September 2026
skool.com/pricingTwo plans, Hobby at $9 a month and Pro at $99 a month, a TRY FOR FREE button on each, and "2 months free!" next to the Monthly and Yearly switch. No code, and no box to enter one.
Skool's help centre search"discount" and "promo" returned no articles. "coupon" returned one article, about fixing a 403 error, which tells you to turn off coupon browser extensions.
The text of Skool's web appThe pricing page loads almost 3,000 pieces of English text for Skool's app, from payment screens to group settings. The words "coupon", "voucher" and "promo code" do not appear in it.

One limit: we did not go through a full checkout, because that means starting a trial. We re-check these pages every quarter and will update this post if anything changes.

What about the coupon sites?

Search "Skool promo code" and you will find sites listing codes for 25%, 50% or even 75% off. We could not find any of those offers on Skool's own pages.

A few simple habits keep you safe:

  • Never pay for a code. A real discount would not need a middleman.
  • Be careful with coupon browser extensions. Skool's own help centre lists them among the extensions to turn off when Skool shows a 403 error.
  • Check prices only on skool.com. Use skool.com/pricing and Skool's own checkout, nowhere else.

To be open about our own links: the Skool sign-up links in this post are affiliate links. They are not a discount code. You pay Skool's normal price, and Skool's affiliate article says it pays the referrer 40% of its subscription price.

Real ways to pay less for Skool

These are for owners, the people who pay Skool's plan.

1. Use the full 14-day free trial

Both plans start with a 14-day free trial. The pricing page describes it as "Get started for $9/month with a 14-day free trial. Cancel anytime." That is two weeks to set up your group and decide before you pay a cent. You can try Skool free for 14 days (affiliate link).

If Skool is not for you, cancel before the trial ends: click SETTINGS for your group, open the Billing tab, click Manage subscription, then Cancel subscription (Skool's steps). Our Skool free trial guide covers what to do with the 14 days.

2. Pay yearly

The pricing page has a Monthly and Yearly switch with "2 months free!" beside it. That is the closest thing to a standing Skool discount. The page does not print the yearly totals, so check the exact figure at checkout before you switch.

3. Pick the plan that fits your member revenue

This one can save the most. Hobby costs $9 a month but takes 10% + 30c of every member payment. Pro costs $99 a month but takes 2.9% + 30c, or 3.9% + 30c on payments above $900 (Skool's Payments FAQ). The 30c is the same on both, so the choice comes down to the percentage.

Members pay you each monthHobby: plan + 10%Pro: plan + 2.9%Cheaper plan
$0 (a free group)$9.00$99.00Hobby
$500$59.00$113.50Hobby
$1,267.61$135.76$135.76Same
$3,000$309.00$186.00Pro

These assume every payment is under $900 and leave out the 30c per payment, since it is equal on both plans. Below about $1,268 a month in member payments, Hobby is cheaper. Above it, Pro is. Our Skool pricing guide shows the full maths and what else Pro includes.

The biggest Skool saving is not a code. It is being on the right plan for what your members pay.

4. Decide on Growth Boost

Growth Boost is Skool showing your group at the top of its search results and running ads for it. When it brings you a paying member, Skool takes a 30% commission plus the normal fee, on every charge while that member stays. It is on by default, and you can turn it off at any time under SETTINGS, then Discovery (Skool's Growth Boost article). Turning it off saves the 30%, but also ends the promotion it pays for. Our guide to Skool Growth Boost helps you weigh it.

5. Change your group URL only once

A custom URL is a Pro feature. The first change is free. After that, Skool charges $100 per change (changing your group URL). Pick the name carefully the first time.

6. Downgrade if you do not use Pro

If you are on Pro and do not need its extras, Skool lets you move to Hobby: SETTINGS, then Billing, Manage subscription, Change plan, and Downgrade (Skool's steps). Skool asks you to demote extra admins and turn off Pro plugins first. Its warning screen says you lose your custom URL, plugins and affiliates, you only get 1 admin or moderator, and your fee goes from 2.9% to 10%. So this saves money only if your members pay you less than about $1,268 a month.

Want a discount on a group you are joining?

If you are a member, the group's owner sets the price, not Skool. We found no help article on coupon codes for groups either. What Skool's help centre does show are options the owner can switch on: a 7-day free trial, an annual price, a free plan on a freemium group, or an email invite that gives access without buying. If you want a better price, ask the owner which of these they offer. Our guide to whether Skool is free covers the member side in full.

So there is no Skool discount code, but there is a real free trial and a real yearly saving. If Skool fits what you want to build, you can start a Skool community here (affiliate link).

FAQ

Is there a Skool discount code?

No. On 29 September 2026, Skool's pricing page had no discount code and no box to enter one, and its help centre had no article on coupons or promo codes. The real ways to pay less are the 14-day free trial, yearly billing with 2 months free, and choosing Hobby or Pro to match your member revenue.

Does Skool have a promo code for the Pro plan?

Not that Skool publishes. Pro costs $99 a month, or less with yearly billing, which the pricing page says gives 2 months free. Pro takes 2.9% + 30c per member payment instead of Hobby's 10% + 30c, so it becomes the cheaper plan once members pay you about $1,268 a month.

Are Skool coupon codes on coupon sites real?

We could not find any of them on Skool's own pages. Skool's pricing page had no code field when we checked on 29 September 2026. Never pay for a code, be careful with coupon browser extensions, and trust only the price shown on skool.com and Skool's own checkout.

Is Skool cheaper if you pay yearly?

Yes. Skool's pricing page shows "2 months free!" next to its Monthly and Yearly switch, on both plans. The page does not print the yearly totals, so check the exact price at checkout. It only helps if you plan to use Skool for the full year.

Do affiliate links give you a Skool discount?

No. An affiliate link, including ours, only tells Skool who referred you. You pay Skool's normal price. Skool pays the referrer out of its own share: its help centre says affiliates earn 40% of Skool's subscription price, which is $39 a month for a Pro group.
