The best Skool communities are built for one clear niche, show their price up front, and have reviews from real members. We went through Skool Discovery, Skool's own directory of Skool communities, one category at a time and kept the 26 that passed the same set of checks. Every price, member count and review count below is what Skool showed when we checked on 29 September 2026. Nobody paid to be on this list.
There is no single best Skool community. It depends on your niche. From Skool Discovery on 29 September 2026, strong picks include KORE Dance Academy for dance, Project Bellplex for kettlebells, Ben Heath Meta Ads Academy for Meta ads and Brush & Banner Academy, free, for miniature painting. Our paid picks cost $1 to $200 a month.

How we picked
- We started at Skool Discovery on 29 September 2026, in each of Skool's nine categories: Hobbies, Music, Money, Spirituality, Tech, Health, Sports, Self-improvement and Relationships. We used the order Skool shows by default and read the first page of 30 communities in each. Where fewer than three passed, we read the second page too.
- We kept communities with an English description and at least 10 member reviews on Skool.
- We left out any community that makes income or earnings claims or promises members money; promises to fix a health, pain, anxiety or legal problem; or is about peptides, steroids or other drugs. We cannot check those claims, so we won't send you to them.
- We left out tools for Skool owners, because we make one (Backpack) and are not neutral there. We also left out our own community.
- We took the first three in each category that passed, in Skool's order, then read each community's About page the same day for its price, trial and who it is for.
Nobody paid to be here, and none of the links to communities earn us anything. We have not joined these communities, so treat this as a shortlist to check, not a promise. One more thing worth knowing: Skool says owners who leave its Growth Boost on get higher placement in search results, and Skool takes a commission on members it brings them. So a high spot on Discovery is not a pure quality score.

Before you pay for any Skool community
- Read the About page for exactly what you get. Courses, calls, how often, and who runs them.
- Read the reviews. Skool shows member reviews on the About page, and a review can show how long that person has been a paying member.
- Free trials turn into payments. Skool's transaction terms say you are charged when the trial ends unless you cancel first.
- Prices are in US dollars. Skool's Payments FAQ says EU buyers pay VAT on top.
- You can cancel any time and keep access until the end of the period you paid for. Our guide on how to cancel a Skool subscription has the steps.
- Refunds are up to the owner. Our post is Skool legit covers red flags and how to ask for one.
Picking from the best Skool communities
Start with your niche, then shortlist two or three Skool communities from the lists above and use the free trial where there is one. We will re-check these picks, since prices and member counts change often. And if none of these fits and you would rather build a community for your own niche, you can start your own Skool community (affiliate link).
FAQ
What are the best Skool communities?
It depends on your niche. From Skool Discovery on 29 September 2026, our picks include KORE Dance Academy for dance, Project Bellplex for kettlebell training, Ben Heath Meta Ads Academy for Meta ads and Remnant Revival Institute for Christian discipleship. We picked by category, needed at least 10 member reviews, and left out income and health claims.
Are there free Skool communities?
Yes. Skool Discovery has a Free filter, and Skool lets owners run free groups or freemium groups with optional paid plans. On 29 September 2026, the only free community that passed our checks was Brush & Banner Academy, a miniature painting school. Most free listings had fewer than 10 member reviews.
How do I find Skool communities?
Go to skool.com/discovery. Skool sorts communities into nine categories, such as Hobbies, Music, Money, Health and Tech, and you can search or filter by free or paid. Open a community to see its About page, price, member count and reviews before you join.
How much do Skool communities cost?
Each owner sets the price. Skool lets owners run free groups, monthly or yearly subscriptions, freemium groups, tiered plans or one-time payments. The paid picks on this page cost from $1 to $200 a month on 29 September 2026. Prices are in US dollars, and EU buyers pay VAT on top.
Can I try a Skool community before paying?
Often, yes. Skool lets owners offer members a 7-day free trial, and many About pages show a Start free trial button. Skool's transaction terms say you are charged when the trial ends unless you cancel first, so set a reminder if you are only trying it.
Are Skool communities worth it?
A good one can be, but quality depends on the owner, not on Skool. Read the About page for what you get, check the reviews and how long reviewers have paid, and ask about refunds before you join. Skool says owners set their own refund terms.
We may earn a commission if you start a Skool community through a link on this page. It costs you nothing extra, and it does not change what we write.
